Automotive Service Technician

Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles across a broad range of services — from routine maintenance and brake work to electrical diagnosis and engine repair.
About the Role
You'll work as a full-service technician handling a variety of vehicles and repair types. We're looking for someone with solid diagnostic instincts and the ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality. The right candidate communicates clearly with the service writer, keeps their bay organized, and treats every vehicle as if it belongs to a neighbor — because it usually does.
What You'll Do
Perform diagnostics using OBD-II scanners and professional shop equipment
Complete brake inspections, pad/rotor replacement, and caliper service
Carry out oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services
Diagnose and repair A/C systems (charging, leak detection, compressor replacement)
Inspect and replace suspension and steering components (shocks, struts, tie rods, ball joints)
Test and replace batteries, alternators, and starters
Perform engine maintenance: belts, hoses, spark plugs, cooling system service
Document findings accurately and communicate repair recommendations clearly
Keep your work area clean and tools organized
What We're Looking For
2+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician (dealership or independent shop)
Ability to diagnose accurately — we don't guess at parts replacements
Proficiency with domestic and import makes (Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, Nissan, etc.)
ASE certifications preferred but not required — we care more about what you can actually do
Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
Own a basic set of professional hand tools
Strong communication skills — you'll work closely with our service writer
Compensation & Schedule
Competitive flat-rate or hourly pay based on experience and certifications
Monday – Friday 8 AM – 6 PM · Saturday 8 AM – 2 PM
